How to Install jed software package in Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

jed software package provides editor for programmers (textmode version), you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jed

jed is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jed package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jed *

You will get with jed package name, version, architecture and description in a table
